I love to share my photo's, inspiration and ideas with you guys; thats why I have this blog :)
Unfortunately, I've been seeing some of my photo's on websites that are not affiliated with me.
Tumblr, I don't mind - as long as they don't say it was done by them.
Credits would be nice but meh.
Anyway, I've found a few personal pages claiming some of my pictures are theirs.
I have contacted most of them but so far I've only gotten one response to put the image down.
Its a little pathetic to steal someone else's work and claim it as your own but hey, this is the world wide web we're talking about.

Your photos are beautiful! I suggest you watermark your photos so that people are less likely to steal it or if they do steal it at least there will always be a link back to your site.

agreed with anonymous, you should make a make up tutorial on what you do/your routine :)
people will always be unoriginal. I've just opened my vintage store on ebay and already had two girls try and copy it for their own. One of them replied and said it was because they admired it so much. There is a difference between admiring and copying.

After reading about people using photos of lookbook users on pro-anorexia sites in the lookbook forums i decided to look into it. Using photos of people who didn't support such sites or who would rather not be affiliated with them shouldn't have their photos on there without them knowing is really disrespectful and could really be taken the wrong way. Sadly among one of the videos i saw some of your photos were pictured. Being a reader of your blog for a long time i knew you wouldn't support such sites/videos and thought it terrible that people were using your pictures in this way without you knowing. It was a video on youtube and if you'd like to follow it up i could find it again for you. Just reply back to me within your comments.

Hi Mega, in the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, perhaps crediting image sources for images you source and post on your blog from elsewhere would also be a good practice to get into.
