FYI

I know I mooch off my parents, but I actually do have a 'job.'
My parents own a large farm in which my retired dad likes to maintain, and grow assorted plants from fruits and vegetables to cane and hay bale leaves.
I drive the tractors that seed the feilds, water the feilds and mow our area and let me tell you, its big and has alot of pesky corners with trees in the way.
Our area is especially shit when we get the big floods and droughts because there's alot of areas to maintain to keep the river flow, as we're a part of this area's flooding system.
I also help maintain bridges, because we use bridges that are 40 years and older, and take care of the chickens.
The chickens doens't dound like a big job, but when you have over 50, which is a really small number for us (we used to have 500+ with different breeds) keeping their cages and feeding area is really a big job.
Those are some of the jobs I do, and they don't sound like much, especially compared to my brother's jobs, but they do take up most of my free time when I'm not with friends.
I'm a farmer.
I work really hard under rain, heat and sometimes late into the night, but i don't care, im working.
So what if my parents have a little bit of extra cash to give me?
I know im spoilt.
But I dont take it without doing anything.
Im also a good kid.
Not going to go into detail with that because I've been rambling on forever but I just wanted to clarify that :)

Here's me on a fun day out with...myself.
I'm quite happy by myself.
I really am.
I can also make myself laugh.
Which is a weird...
But meh.

Trying things on in Sportsgirl.

My jacket and bag are just chillin in Borders.

Eating at a nice cafe.
All for moi.

The gorgeous bra's and panties from Sass and Bide.
Loove.

Trying some more Sass and Bide.
Love the shirts they've brought out, exactly the right length for me.
(I have a really short torso x.x)
These Beast Rats aren't as fab as the price tag, still think they're cool though
They remind me of Raichu.

But Pikachu pwns.

lol

I don't usually comment, but I wanted to say hell yeah for farmer girls with style. I live in the middle of horse country in the States so there's a fair share of country sense in me but that doesn't mean I can't dress well. But, of course, sometimes it's difficult to walk in heels when most of the driveways are gravel.

Hey Mega.
That sounds like a whole heap of work to be doing!
Love your jacket, is it by Lucette?

P.s Sometimes shopping by oneself feels good, just some alone time and clothes and not to mention good food.

& also I sometimes find Sportsgirl quality a bit crap and other times not bad, do you ever get that?

hiii :)

my goodness you do work hard!!
But i hope you didnt just justify your lifestyle because someone said something nasty about being spoilt or anything.
"everyone gets dealt different cards" -- and its quite clear you dont live the easiest stress free life. You work hard for what youve got!

You are simply amazing. I go to an agricultural school and have studied Ag for four years so I know how hard you must work!! It's really tough and you must be really strong ^^

Let me tell you though, out of all the boarder girls who go to my school - you beat them in style by far. Very, very far.

well, good for you that you actually work for your reward instead of doing nothing and still being ungrateful for what your given, even though it is considerably more than a large number of people get, like someone i know of...

I live in an area where farming is still important as well and my grandfather was a farmer so I know the hard work you put in.
Love your photos..the last few are hilarious.

I commend you for working hard on a farm and earning your cash. You seem to be a fantastic daughter.

Anonymous: And what makes you think Im ungrateful?

That is sooo naughty!! The pikachu naughtiness, I mean. Shopping and mooching off the rents while you're young, well, you're young and they wouldn't let you do it if they didn't want to make you happy. I can speak from experience that it makes you a lot more apt to appreciate what they gave you and to give back to them when you're older.

Anonymous said...

MEGA read the comment again, it doesnt say your ungrateful does it?

Anonymous said...

MEGA: hmmmmmmm thats what i thought

i think you need to learn to proof read, and/or not jump to conclusions

Gee, did you go to school?

Oh, and on another note, who the hell cares what I do with My money. Who cares I get alot more than other people? Its MY LIFE. My parents are RICH. GET OVER IT. Im not afraid to say they're wealthy, because they are. GET. OVER. IT.

Anonymous said...

MEGA oh my god, do you listen in english? i really dont understand why this is so hard for you to wrap your head around, but maybe its because australian/english is different from english/english
lets run through this again, shall we?
my comment was saying - well GOOD for you that YOU ACTUALLY WORK FOR YOUR REWARD (now heres the complex part) INSTEAD OF (that means, basically, that you're not ungrateful) instead of doing nothing (you've just made it quite dlear you dont do norhing) and still being ungrateful.

and what made you try and insult my education? thats uncalled for?

Anonymous said...

and 'on another note', i dont actually care what you do with your money... (im presuming that comment was aimed at me)
it's really none of my business what you do with it. (of course, youre running a fashion blog here so youre kind of making it our business what you do with your money... i.e buy clothes)
anyway, neither do i care whether your parents are rich or not, because, guess what? SO ARE MINE.
that might come as a shock to you, but its not really IMPORTANT since my original comment was (and i understand i'll have to simplify this for you) its good that youre not ungrateful, even if you do get quite a lot.
sometimes its possible for people to not care that much about every aspect of your life, you know. its also possible that people might just be MAKING A COMMENT, and you dont have to jump on the defensive.

Anonymous said...

Not the same anonymous. But I agree...that sentence wasn't really that hard to understand.
