I think I've discussed this before but Twilight is a peice of SHIT people.
It's Mary Sue the whole way and in my opinion, people who love Mary Sue orientated movies and books subconciencely replaces that character with themselves.
I know because I've spent my junior years reading Quizilla, Fanfictions and many anime forums and let me tell you, the amount of people reading Mary Sue's was ridiculous.
Okay, maybe the well written one's I can handle, but Twilight?
Come on!
I read it at the end of grade 7; it was grade 7 reading material.

Sorry guys, just, this whole Twihard fandom shit is over a relatively unknown book that came out as a movie with Kristin Stewart looking constipated throughout the whole movie.
It's attacking my school!!!

On to better things.
Alex Pettyfer.
Currently in 'beastly' with Mary Kate Olsen and Vanessa Hudgens.
Been a fan since his Storm Rider days.
I hope this movie doens't make him too famous, lol.
Did you know, people on forums suggested him to play Jasper?
I think I'd like the movie 90% more if her were and 100% more if they changed Kristin Stewart.
Nobody else looks constipated.

Oh, and I also really like this Burberry campaign.

i could not agree more about the twilight thing. bella is such an annoying mary sue, and edward is a creepy control-freak. i too read twilight about 3 or 4 years ago and quite frankly i am getting to my wits end with these rabid “twihard” fangirls who proclaim that twilight is “like the best book ever.” if twilight was ever the best book in existence, it would be a sad day for literature.

I so agree. People at my work keep asking me if I'm excited for New Moon, and and I find it hard to stop myself from gagging. It's not even that the story is awful, but the writing is soooo amateur. If someone handed it in for a school assignment, it would be at best a failing grade. And how is it ok that Edward STALKS Bella and breaks into her bedroom at night to watch her????

I know what you mean. I read twilight years and years ago and last year it EXPLODED here and now everyone is obsessed (well, except for me haha). I couldn't even read the last book. My sister got it for me and I started to read it but just ended up reading the wikipedia page haha.

thank god i'm not the only one who can't stand twilight. the only reason i saw it was because i heard the guy who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter was in it. Ha.

But yeah, i read all the books and it's like it was written by a 14 year old girl. I hate it.

I didn't hate twilight, but i'm definitely not in a craze about it like EVERY other girl is.
alex pettyfer has such an amazing face for modelling, way more unique than all others.
& he did all of his own stunts in storm rider!

yeah, my friend and i are absolutely IN LOVE with alex pettyfer. when i went to the burberry store in Chicago with my mom and saw his ad campaigns everywhere, i freaked out and made my brother sneak a picture of one with my phone (without the snooty salespeople catching him).

I liked that season too. Unfortunately I couldn't talk my boyfriend into one of those brightly colored trenches (I was going for the red one). Hopefully when I get back to Australia it'd be on sale. All the best stuff ends up on sale there!

I totally agree with you about Twilight. I fell like I'm the only one that doesn't get's the hole thing.

I read Twilight in 2007. Writing was nothing special, but I fell for the initial story idea. But each sequel kept getting worse and worse - the last UNBELIEVABLY horrible. The writing reminded me of FANFICTION which is an unflattering comparison for a "best-seller". Then I realized a movie was being made by MTV (I could be wrong) and just expected some piece of shit..I was right! Actors, script, directing all bad! A really bad low-budget film. And people who say the books and movie are amazing are just delusional.

i must say, i'm rather over this whole agyness deyn phase. she doesn't really have anything particularly striking about herself or her personal style (how hard is it to throw on random, mismatched clothing?), and it saddens me to see her leading campaigns such as this one when there are so many more talented models who would be better at it.

I couldn't agree more! Twilight is crap. seriously. and people who say that Kristen Stewart is a great actor, come on.. In every single movie she just looks the same.
and yeah the campaign is great but I can't stand Agyness Deyn.

People are all the same there are people who scream I love it and people who just can't stand it.
Twilight is ok and it wasn't a unknown book, I don't know about AU but here in the US it was popular and the movie just made it even more so.
It isn't a big budget film so of course all the actors aren't up to par.
I have seen worse books that have gone into movies.
My Sister's Keeper for example, the movie did the book VERY little justice.
Yes twilight is for young teens...that's why it's in the TEENS section at the bookstore.
People need to get over this.
Anyway this is just my opinion, I love your blog and these burberry ads :)

O GOD
Beastly is becoming a movie...
The book was ok, I hope the movie is better...
Is Vanessa Hudgens playing is shallow girlfriend or the "plain girl" who breaks the curse?

It's almost painful how emphatically I agree...

Omg. Finally someone who doesn't think the world revolves around Twilight. Let me make things clear: Edward is a fictional character not real Twilight fans :)

Totally agree. Twilight blows. The Burbery ads are hot, Agy is so hot.

Twilight, I LOVE. the books are pretty good (a bit drawn out though)
but the basic storyline is fantastic.

the movie; you couldn't be more right about Kristin Stewart. she ruined the 'Bella' image for me.
but Robert is a total babe. :)

unfortunately half the world also thinks so. and that's when it gets boring.

love your blog! (by the way, i love the outfit in the laptop cover a few posts down!)
Sophie xo!

wow, 'the outfit in'
that's embarrassing.
it's been a long day. xo!

Twilight isn't that bad, but if someone didn't like Harry Potter no one makes a fuss and afterall it is a teen book meant for like 14/15year olds. Anyway great blog and Alex Pettyfer is quite big here in the UK what with his latest fil 'Tormented' out and his role in 'Wild Child'. Brilliant model though. Keep blogging x

I agree on the whole twilight moview it was terrible.. Kristen Stewart was terrible too!

I hate Twitards too but if anyone was constipated it was Edward. Then Bella.

I am so over Twilight as well. I read it a few years ago and I liked it but back then, I was in my full fanfiction-anime-quizilla phase and I was reading shitty stories. I still love fanfic and anime but uh, no Twilight thanks.

Anyway, I'm loving this Burberry campaign! Alex Pettyfer looks great and the campaign just looks so fun! I think Agyness Deyn looks fab. :)
