I love the feeling of wearing long dresses. <3
When deciding what I want to do, should I go for the job safety option of pursuing a business and/or law degree?
Or something I love, like in the fashion industry?
I am so undecided that I'm binging on food more than usual.
Sass and Bide dress, Sportsgirl Jacket, Louis Vuitton watch, Chanel bag, RMK heels.

O wanted to be in fashion my entire life.
When I started studying it I realised it's nothing like one imagines it to be. I still love it, but there are much more meaningful and fulfilling things you could do with your intelligence.
You look stunning!!
Thanks so much B.A. I was thinking about future me breaking down one day and having a Nigel moment; "I can't believe I talk about this crap all day"
Such a great outfit, love the dress!
Love the blazer, you look gorgeous!
Carmen.xx.
so freakin gorgeous.
an amazing outfit - i really love the blazer. x.
wow you look gorge - i love this whole outfit xxx
I agree w/ B.A. Sometimes the "study" of fashion can suck the life out of it & I found that a lot of people in the industry really do take themselves TOO seriously!
Honestly, you can study something concrete that you enjoy and take a couple of classes related to the fashion industry on the side. Most jobs in the fashion industry do not require a specific degree, just knowledge of the field you want to pursue. That way you'll have something else to fall back on.
Sorry for the rant...

fashion, fashion!!
You look stunning, either way ;)
LOVE the striped jacket!

Hey!
For help, I choosed the passion more than the job safety option, and I'm now learning philosophy, I love it, and for that I'm one of the bests of my prom. I'm really fond of what I study and it made my life better.
And, just stunning in this outfit!
Those heels are pure love.
And I'd like to give you some advice about choosing your future profession, but unfortunately I'm kind of in the same situation as you. One more year till uni and I have no idea what I'll do with my life...... :(

I love sass&bide soooo freakin' much x

Hi, this is my first time commenting. Nice to meet you my name is Alice :D
About your undecided dilemma, I'm on the same boat as you. I'm going to be a freshman in college in the fall and I was going crazy of choosing what to do. The best advice I got was, do what YOU want to do. If you don't, you'll regret it in the future. And if it doesn't work out, you can always change majors into the safe jobs. Hope that helped!
Great style! Lovely photos and post...
I totally get what you feel about the uni issue~ I am going into my third year of uni and I still don't know what I want to do after I graduate. I'm not sure how it works in Australia, but here you really do have time to explore all of your options before settling down. I have a mix of friends some who have changed their major ten times and some who have stuck through with their major. In your first year, definitely take advantage of all the courses available at your uni and take business and fashion/design courses! You could also double major or perhaps major in one and minor in the other. If you do, it'll definitely give you an edge compared to others when you graduate and are searching for a job.
I hope this wasn't too long =X well actually i kinda know it was XD
Also, I'm around 155 cm so I'm kinda nervous about buying maxi/long dresses. Do you have suggestions?
I just finished my HSC last year and I was grappling with the decision between passion and practicality too: Design or Optom/Med.
I am in first year Interior Design/International Studies now and can honestly say I have no regrets with my decision. I feel at pains to know I have forgone a career with guaranteed respect in society but looking back I doubt I would be experiencing anything remotely close to the sort of joy and satisfaction that I have now.
A few comments helped shaped my appreciation of my decision, and I hope they will help you with yours too.
1. We need intelligent women in all career paths.
2. Would you rather devote your time to money, or to your passion?
In the end, your life is what you make of it. A life lived in fear is a life half lived: Where there is a will, there is a way.

What ever the choice....know its not going to be easy....which ever route to decide to purse. Try and find something you love doing.....easier said than done in many cases but remember you need an income from for choice.
